Three kinds of data, each with its own sample: how fast Shopify's APIs change (from our reviewed tracker), which Shopify developer packages are growing (npm downloads), and what the stores in our index are built with.

Based on 64 reviewed tracker rows. Hydrogen and CLI changes use package versions, so they appear in the most-changed chart but not in the per-version ones.

How these are counted
- Only tracker rows a person has reviewed and published count. Each row is one change to one API surface.
- A change belongs to the API version it is deprecated in, or else the version it is removed in.
- Notice is measured from the date of Shopify's changelog post to the removal date, or the release date of the removal version.
- The tracker covers changelog posts from October 2024 onwards, so earlier history isn't included.
- npm figures are weekly downloads (Monday to Sunday) averaged over 4 weeks. Weeks with missing days are left out.
- Every number here is computed from the data, never written by AI.
